Many Point Swim Test Scheduled

A time for the pre-camp swim test has been scheduled for Friday, June 20th @ 7:00 a.m. at the GSL High School Pool.
This testing is for cub scouts, boy scouts and adults who will be attending summer scout camp.  The pre-camp swim test is not mandatory, but does simplify things on arrival to camp.  If you cannot make this event, do not worry, we’ll get you through the testing at camp.
Please arrive between 7:00 and 7:30 and enter through the Field House entrance.  Proceed left (east) into the high school until you come to the appropriate locker room on your right.  Once in your swim suit you may enter the pool area from the locker room showers.   We’ll be standing by to help you with the testing.    Testing will be “first come, first served” and should take about 10 minutes.  We’ll try to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

5/11: Meeting Ideas Brainstorming

Announcements:

  • Next week is the final week for Many Point signup! Make sure your name is on the list!
  • We’re looking for a scribe and webmaster, and we’d like to know before elections in January so that we can train you in. Talk to Chandler for details.
  • Patches are in! If you didn’t get a staff patch from the camporee, talk to Chandler. Also, if you’re interested in receiving a participant patch, we have some left over.

The rest of the meeting consisted of brainstorming and narrowing ideas for future meetings. We ended up with a significant list which will be used by the PLC for planning future meetings.
